Transportation

A large number of our students travel from communities between 5 km and 30 km away, making school transport an essential part of daily life at VISS Kalba.

The school day begins at 7:50 am, with bus routes starting from 6:45 am onwards depending on location.

Our services cover key areas around Kalba including Wadi Helo, Mohamed Bin Zayed, Sekamkam, and Fujairah. Families benefit from carefully planned routes that help avoid peak traffic congestion, reducing travel times in both the mornings and afternoons.

Security on the bus

All buses and vans are fitted with CCTV and seatbelts. To monitor safety and support children on the bus, we have a bus conductor on board at all times. We also have a dedicated transport app that monitors attendance, route tracking and contact/communication, each parent is given a log on and link to the app

Transport Administration

Our dedicated Transport Coordinator, Mr. Falak, oversees all aspects of the school’s bus services. His responsibilities include managing absenteeism, coordinating schedule changes, monitoring safety, and maintaining clear communication with both parents and students.

He is supported by a team of 24 staff members who work together to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient transport services every day.
