Early Learning Centre

The VISS Early Learning Centre is a place where memories of laughter, friendships, exploration, and joy are made, and where rich learning opportunities set the foundation for lifelong success.

Our programme is based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), which focuses on five key outcomes: identity, connection, wellbeing, learning, and communication. These principles guide every aspect of our practice, ensuring that children feel safe, confident, and supported as they take their first steps into education.

The curriculum blends evidence-based literacy and numeracy programmes, such as PreLit, with a strong emphasis on play-based learning. This approach prepares students for a smooth transition into Primary by building early reading, language, and problem-solving skills, while still nurturing creativity and imagination. Arabic is also taught from the early years, allowing children to begin developing bilingual skills and a strong connection to the culture and values of the UAE.

With high adult-to-student ratios, purpose-built facilities, and well-resourced classrooms, children benefit from individual attention in a stimulating and caring environment. Hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and regular school trips encourage curiosity and discovery, helping children to learn through active, joyful engagement.

At VISS ELC, we believe in supporting the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally. Through rich learning experiences, early bilingual exposure, and nurturing relationships, our youngest learners develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning that will carry them through the years ahead.

“We believe that early childhood is a unique time of life, to be valued and enjoyed in its own right.”
